Featured Guest Speaker—Richard Byrne
NDATL is proud to announce that Richard Byrne will speak and present several break-out sessions at the Spring Conference in Fargo on April 11-12.
Richard Byrne is best known in the educational technology community for his award-winning blog Free Technology for Teachers. On a daily basis Richards blog http://www.freetech4teachers.com/ reaches a subscriber base of more than 53,000 educators. In addition to writing Free Technology for Teachers, Richard writes a monthly column for School Library Journal, is a contributing author to What School Leaders Need to Know About Digital Technologies and Social Media, has written for Teacher Librarian, and recently launched iPadapps4school.com. He has presented at conferences and at schools across North America and Europe. His work is focused on sharing free resources that educators can use to enhance their students learning experiences.
Richard became a Google Certified Teacher in 2009. In 2010 he was a finalist for ACTEMs (Association of Computer Teachers and Educators in Maine) educator of the year award. Tech & Learning Magazine named Richard one of their people to watch in their 100@30 30th Anniversary celebration (http://techlearning.com/article/26660). In 2012 Richard received a MERLOT Classics Award from California State Universitys Chancellors Office.

Microsoft Lunch and Tour April 11
We have also added a Microsoft Lunch and Tour on Thursday, April 11th. We will meet at the Doublewood Inn and Conference Center Lobby at 12:00 noon.
There will be shuttle service to and from the Microsoft Complex. Lunch will be provided at 12:30 with a tour to follow.
